PANIC HARDWARE
This versatile system can be supplied in three different operating specifications making it one of the most flexible panic exit devices available.
The system is surface mounted with covered moving rods to guard against vandalism. The spring arrangement that activates the latches is manufactured from stainless steel. The mechanism itself has been tested to over a million cycles and still operates effectively. The Omec emergency exit application is suitable for doors up to 1200mm wide by 2500mm high.

SINGLE DOOR WITH OPTIONAL TOP & BOTTOM BOLTS OR LATCHES
Single doors can be fitted with a single centre latch or a three point locking system with the addition of top & bottom locking points for added security.
The top & bottom locking units can be supplied as “bolts” for vertical locking or “latches” for horizontal locking.Emergency doorways will feature low or occasionally no threshold plates. Should this create problems fitting floor strikes for 3 point bolt locking single doors, we would recommend you consider Latches (horizontal locking) (OrderRef. KIT3PL). Recommended minimum width for doors when fitting panic bars - 800mm

REBATED DOUBLE DOORS
The Active Door must be fitted with a single centre latch or a three point locking system with the addition of top & bottom “latches” (horizontal locking) for extra security.
The Slave Door must be fitted with two point “bolts” (vertical locking), with the centre latch blanked off to give top & bottom locking points only (Centre Latch Blanking Plates are including in the Kits). If security is a key consideration, our recommendation would be to fit 2 sets of 3point Panic Bolts.
